Update:
Upon Police investigation of the report of alleged shots fired it was determined that the damage was not caused by gunfire. An object struck the victim’s vehicle and shattered the glass. Police and other witnesses were also in the area at the time of the incident and did not hear gunshots.
GSU Police is investigating an incident of Shots Fired in front of the University Commons (141 Piedmont Avenue NE). No one was injured in this incident and there is not ongoing threat to the University Community.
A burgundy car was seen fleeing the scene.
